Enrique III (1207-1272), hijo de Jean-sans-Terre, se casó con Éléonore, la hija del Conde de Provenza. Firmó con Luis IX el Tratado de París en 1259 que puso fin a la primera Guerra de los Cien Años que le permitió recuperar la posesión de Guyenne y Gascuña. Su hijo, Eduardo I, lo sucedió..
