Comentario
La particularité de cette variété est d'avoir un animal tout à fait différent des exemplaires précédents ; il ferait penser à un ruminant (cerf ou élan), comparable à celui du potin LT. 8143. La sorte de bourrelet écrasé par l'animal du revers est limité à un petit segment qui fait corps avec la patte avant de l'animal sur cette variété.

GALLIA BELGICA - REMI (Región de Reims)

Los Remi fueron uno de los pueblos más poderosos de la Galia y aliados leales de los romanos. El territorio de los Rèmes se extendía sobre la actual Champaña, a lo largo del Aisne. Tuvieron por vecinos los Atuatuci, los Treveri, los Mediomatrics, los Lingones, los Suessions, los Bellovaci y los Nervians. Denunciaron a César la coalición de pueblos belgas del 57 a. C. que incluía a los Suessions que compartían las mismas leyes y los mismos magistrados. Su oppidum principal era Bibrax. La capital de la civitas en la época galorromana fue Durocortorum (Reims). César (BG. II, 3-5, 7, 12; III, 11; V, 3, 24, 53, 54, 56; VI, 4, 12, 44; VII, 63, 90; VIII, 6, 11) . Estrabón (G. IV, 3, 5). Kruta: 70, 313-314, 366.
