À l’avers sont représentés le mont Triglav (“Trois Têtes”, plus haut sommet de Slovénie figurant aussi sur le drapeau national), l'inscription "Oj Triglav moj dom" (Ô Triglav, ma maison) et la constellation du Cancer (signe sous lequel la Slovénie a achevé son indépendance en 1991).
Au revers, la nouvelle face commune avec la carte de l’Union Européenne à 27 (et non plus 15 menbres comme le 1er type)..
The obverse features Mount Triglav (Three Heads), the highest peak in Slovenia, which also appears on the national flag, the inscription \\\"Oj Triglav moj dom\\\" (Oh Triglav, my home), and the constellation Cancer (the sign under which Slovenia achieved its independence in 1991). The reverse features the new common side with the map of the 27-member European Union (rather than the 15 members of the first type).
