Triens fourré, sur un flan relativement large avec des types centrés et presque complets. La pellicule d’or est bien conservée, sur un âme en bronze visible par endroits, surtout au droit en bord de flan

Ce triens a les caractéristiques typiques du monnayage d’or mérovingien ; tête au droit et croix au revers. Aucun élément particulier ne semble permettre de proposer une attribution précise à un atelier.
L'épigraphie est assez confuse au droit, avec le monogramme FIT qui indique qu’il s’agit bien du monétaire ou de l’atelier. Au revers, la légende est complète : INOISAC ou CASIONI (?), ce qui ne correspond à rien de connu....
This triens has the typical characteristics of Merovingian gold coinage: head on the obverse and cross on the reverse. No particular element seems to allow a precise attribution to a mint to be proposed. The epigraphy is rather confused on the obverse, with the monogram FIT which indicates that it is indeed the mint or the mint. On the reverse, the legend is complete: INOISAC or CASIONI (?), which does not correspond to anything known...
