Boîte de production française sans étiquette probablement du XIXe siècle.
Les poids, en forme de tronc de cylindre à bouton très plat, sont d’origine avec : un poids de 2 AS LOUIS DOR. (double louis d’or) (13,28g), un poids de 1 AS LOUIS DO. (louis d’or) (6,59g), un poids de 1/2 A 3/4 LOUIS (demi-louis d’or) (3,30g) ainsi qu’un poids d’un 1/2 IMPERIAL (6,55g), un poids de 1 P DUCAT (3,47g) et un poids de 1 W DUCAT (3,54g).
Tous les poids sont identifiés par le type gravé.
La boîte, complète, en bois recouverte d’un papier noir imitant le cuir et doré sur les bords, est fermée par une attache métallique. Le fléau de la balance est à double trou plat. L’ensemble (poids et balance) est placé dans une boîte couverte à l’intérieur d’une feutrine marron clair et d’une bordure fine dorée.
Dimensions de la boîte : 68*136 mm. Hauteur : 19 mm.
French production box without label, probably from the 19th century. The weights, in the shape of a cylinder trunk with a very flat knob, are original with: a weight of 2 AS LOUIS DOR. (double louis d'or) (13.28g), a weight of 1 AS LOUIS DO. (louis d'or) (6.59g), a weight of 1/2 A 3/4 LOUIS (half-louis d'or) (3.30g) as well as a weight of 1/2 IMPERIAL (6.55g), a weight of 1 P DUCAT (3.47g) and a weight of 1 W DUCAT (3.54g). All weights are identified by the engraved type. The complete box, made of wood covered with black paper imitating leather and gilded on the edges, is closed with a metal fastener. The balance beam has a double flat hole. The whole set (weights and scales) is placed in a box covered inside with light brown felt and a thin gold border. Box dimensions: 68*136 mm. Height: 19 mm
