Titulatura del anverso: ANÉPIGRAPHE.
Descripción del anverso: Tête géométrique à gauche, l’œil figuré par un gros annelet pointé central ; bourrelet périphérique avec de petits arcs de cerlces.

Titulatura del reverso: ANÉPIGRAPHE.
Descripción del reverso: Restes de taureau chargeant, le corps filiforme, un gros globule au centre.
Comentario
Sur ce potin, la tête peut être interprétée à gauche, avec la hampe en guise de cou. Le revers (avec un taureau si géométrique) est d’une orientation indéterminées !
Le potin LT. 9541 était mal compris à l’époque, avec une inversion avers et revers et une mauvaise orientation du taureau ! Les potin de petit modules semblent plus rare dans la production de monnaies coulée outre-Manche, pourtant l’ABC indique ce potin comme “très commun” en associant les avers à droite et les avers à gauche sous le n° 174.
On this potin, the head can be interpreted as left, with the shaft as a neck. The reverse (with such a geometric bull) is of an indeterminate orientation! The potin LT. 9541 was misunderstood at the time, with an obverse and reverse inversion and a wrong orientation of the bull! Las primeras menciones de los Cantii datarían de finales del siglo II aC Dieron su nombre a Kent. En estrecha relación con el continente, la acuñación se iniciaría en los primeros años del siglo I aC César los consideraba los más evolucionados de los pueblos de la isla de Britania (BG. V, 13 y 14). Durante su campaña en Gran Bretaña, César había luchado contra Casivellaunus, quien había enviado mensajeros a los cuatro reyes que entonces reinaban en Kent (BG, V, 22). Dubnovellaunos, citado con Tincomio fue cliente rey de Roma, en tiempos de Augusto, citado en la Res Gestæ (RG. XXXII).
