Poids léger. Rubans convergents : rubans descendant verticalement le long de la nuque ou légèrement incurvés vers l’arrière (type 3). Le buste présente bien une haste reposant sur l’épaule et non pas un sceptre comme sur de nombreux exemplaires en particulier Bastien n° 213. Le bras semble nu et non recouvert par l’épaulière et les ptéryges. La qualité de l’exemplaire du Gabinetto Numismatico du Castello Sforzesco de Milan, collection P. Gerin ne permet avec certitude d’affirmer que Constance tient une haste plutôt qu’un sceptre. Semble complètement inédit et non signalé avec ce type de césure pour ce type de buste. Malgré la rareté du type, nous n’avons relevé aucune liaison de coin pertinente. Cet exemplaire reste unique pour le moment. Prendra le numéro 162b dans le Supplément III du Bastien.
Light weight. Converging ribbons: ribbons descending vertically along the nape of the neck or slightly curved towards the back (type 3). The bust clearly shows a spear resting on the shoulder and not a scepter as on many examples, in particular Bastien No. 213. The arm seems bare and not covered by the shoulder guard and pteryges. The quality of the example in the Gabinetto Numismatico of the Castello Sforzesco in Milan, P. Gerin collection, does not allow us to state with certainty that Constance is holding a spear rather than a scepter. Seems completely unpublished and not reported with this type of caesura for this type of bust. Despite the rarity of the type, we have not noted any relevant die link.
