Comentario

Il s’agit d’une des rares monnaies frappées pour l’État indépendant de Croatie. L’écu a damier représente la Croatie, le sigle “U” est celui des Les Oustachis (en croate : Ustaše).
L’État indépendant de Croatie est constitué le 10 avril 1941 suite à l’invasion du Royaume de Yougoslavie par les troupes germano-italiennes. Dirigé par Ante Pavelic du groupe nationaliste et faciste croate des Oustachis, cet état regroupait la Croatie (sauf l’Istrie et la Dalmatie rattachée à l’Italie) et la Bosnie-Herzégovine. This is one of the few coins minted for the Independent State of Croatia. The checkered shield represents Croatia, the acronym “U” is that of the Ustaše (Croatian: Ustaše). The Independent State of Croatia was formed on April 10, 1941, following the invasion of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia by German-Italian troops. Led by Ante Pavelic of the Croatian nationalist and fascist Ustaše group, this state included Croatia (except Istria and Dalmatia, which were annexed to Italy) and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The regime collapsed in 1945 with the German withdrawal.
