On the occasion of the 120th anniversary of the inauguration of the Eiffel Tower, the Monnaie de Paris is continuing the series on the great captains of industry and is striking for the first time a coin bearing the image of Gustave Eiffel. The Monnaie de Paris is thus paying tribute to the genius of this incredible engineer by introducing a unique technological innovation: a cut-out in the “Eiffel” coin, whose stylized shape evokes the famous monument.
