Le jeton ne porte pas de poinçon et est probablement une fabrication interne, destinée à montrer la qualité des placages. Malheureusement, celle-ci est médiocre et compte tenu du capital, énorme pour l’époque, on peut avoir quelques doutes sur les intentions réelles des fondateurs.

MINES ET FORGES
La numismática de las minas fue objeto de un estudio de Jules Florange en 1904. Este último enumeró el material numismático relacionado con las minas: medallas, fichas de asistencia, fichas de necesidad o monedas fiduciarias, fichas de los superintendentes de las minas. Otro trabajo destacable es el trabajo de la Asociación de Coleccionistas de Monedas en 1999.
