Ces deniers avec globule au droit et pentalpha au revers sont traditionnellement attribués à la Touraine mais il existe aussi des exemplaires frappés à Poitiers. Variante rare avec un reste de légende autour du pentalpha. Le O losangé du droit fait pensé à ceux se rencontrant souvent sur les deniers de Melle au E ou M croiseté.
These deniers with a globule on the obverse and a pentalpha on the reverse are traditionally attributed to Touraine, but there are also examples struck in Poitiers. A rare variant with a remnant of the legend around the pentalpha. The diamond-shaped O on the obverse is reminiscent of those often found on the deniers of Melle with a crossed E or M.
