PORTUGAL -MARIE II

(1834-1853)

María II (1819-1851) era hija de Pedro IV de Portugal y I de Brasil (1798-1834). Sucedió a su tío Miguel (1802-1866) quien abdicó en su favor en 1834. De hecho, su padre nunca reinó realmente sobre Portugal, permaneciendo en Brasil. Se casó dos veces. De su segundo matrimonio, tuvo a Pierre V que la sucedió en 1853..
