Dans la nouvelle édition de l’ouvrage d’O. Hoover (HGCS 3/1, n° 958) ce type est attribué à Alexandre IV, le fils posthume d’Alexandre le Grand et de Roxane. Ce type particulier attribué à Salamine de Chypre aurait été frappé sous l’autorité de Nicocréon, dernier roi de Salamine (331-311 avant J.-C..
In the new edition of the work of O. Hoover (HGCS 3/1, no. 958) this type is attributed to Alexander IV, the posthumous son of Alexander the Great and Roxana. This particular type attributed to Salamis of Cyprus would have been minted under the authority of Nicocreon, last king of Salamis (331-311 BC).
