Titulatura del anverso: ANÉPIGRAPHE.
Descripción del anverso: Tête à droite, les cheveux divisés en grosses boucles stylisées, tirées en arrière et le nez pointu, un fleuron sortant de la bouche ; un gros grènetis, surtout visible devant le visage.
Reverso
Titulatura del reverso: YIII.
Descripción del reverso: Oiseau à gauche ; derrière, un pentagramme, un Y et deux annelets centrés ; sous la queue de l'oiseau, une croisette aux extrémités bouletées ; un globule sous le bec de l'oiseau et un annelet pointé devant.
Comentario
La variété b de la classe XI a la caractéristique d'avoir une légende tronquée YIII au revers. Cet exemplaire a la particularité d'avoir une sorte de fleuron, proche de la légende CA (?) présente devant la bouche sur les exemplaires de la classe IX. En revanche, le revers a la particularité inédite d'avoir un annelet centré devant le bec. Il s'agit donc d'un hybride inédit des variantes des classes IX et XI.

GALLIA - SENONES (Región de Sens)

Los Sénons, cuyo nombre significa los sabios o los ancianos, controlaban un vasto territorio que se extendía entre el sur de la Champaña y el norte de la Borgoña. Su oppidum principal era Agedincum (Sens) que aún hoy conserva el nombre de la antigua civitas. Tenían varios otros oppida como Auxerre, Tonnerre o Avallon. Divona parece haber sido el santuario principal de los Senones. César había invernado a seis de sus legiones en el 53 a. C. en Agedincum. Labieno, lugarteniente y legado de César, vino a establecerse en la región de Sens entre Gergovie y Alesia para controlar los caminos y proteger a los ejércitos de César de un ataque de los belgas o los alemanes.
