The Apostle Islands National Lakeshore is a protected area on the southern shore of Lake Superior in northern Wisconsin. It is composed of a group of 21 islands known for its ancient lighthouses, sandstone caves, and old-growth forests. Established in 1970, the park is managed by the National Park Service. This lot contains one coin from each of the three issuing mints (3 mints in total): Philadelphia, Denver, and San Francisco.
