Comentario

Cette monnaie est absente du FRANC et elle n'apparaît pas dans les registres de fabrication de la Monnaie de Paris. C'est en fait une pièce destinée à l'usage local et au commerce rhénan où elle était évaluée à 1,5 kreutzer. Elle est frappée avec les caractéristiques des monnaies du nouveau royaume westphalien de Jérôme Napoléon (1807-1813). Nous sommes bien en présence d'une espèce destinée à la circulation dans l'aire germanique car elle est en frappe médaille avec une orientation des coins à 12 heures.
This coin is absent from the FRANC and does not appear in the minting records of the Paris Mint. It is in fact a coin intended for local use and for Rhineland trade where it was valued at 1.5 kreutzer.
