Charles-Albert (2/10/1798- 28/08/1849) es hijo de Charles-Emmanuel de Savoie. Sucedió a su tío en 1831. Tras la derrota de Novarre, abdicó el 24 de marzo de 1849 en favor de su hijo Victor-Emmanuel II. Murió en Oporto el 28 de agosto del mismo año..
