Comentario
Le revers est très proche de certains grands bronzes de Marseille au taureau chargeant. D’autre part le monogramme rappelle celui des tétradrachmes imité d’Évainète (ANS. 637) frappés à la même époque. Sont associés au buste de Koré plusieurs symboles placés derrière la tête : dauphin, grain d’orge, étoile, torche ou trophée.

Agatocleo, tirano de Siracusa
Agatocles había tomado el poder en Siracusa en el 317 aC y asumió el título de rey en el 305 aC En el 310 el tirano invadió el norte de África y atacó Cartago, pero fue derrotado en el 307 y debe retirarse a Sicilia. La paz, firmada al año siguiente con el enemigo hereditario, consagra la hegemonía de Agatocles sobre toda Sicilia.
